Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the any planz? website and services (collectively, the “Service”) operated by AnyPlanz (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

any planz? is a local event discovery and planning platform for the San Francisco Bay Area and other cities. We aggregate publicly available event information, rank events by social buzz, and provide tools to save events and build plans. Event information is provided for informational purposes and may not always be complete or current.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that you have parental or guardian consent.

3. Accounts

• You may sign in using your Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at hello@anyplanz.com.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Service without our express written permission.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its related systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
• Use the Service to transmit spam, malware, or other harmful content.
• Use automated tools (bots, scripts) to interact with the Service in ways that degrade performance for other users.

5. Third-Party Content

The Service aggregates event information from publicly available third-party sources including ticketing platforms, venue websites, local news outlets, and social media. We do not create, endorse, or guarantee the accuracy of this third-party content.

• Accuracy — Event details (dates, times, locations, prices) may change. Always verify event information directly with the event organizer or venue before attending.
• Tickets — Ticket links direct you to third-party ticketing services. We are not a party to any ticket purchase transaction and are not responsible for ticketing disputes, cancellations, or refunds.
• Intellectual property — Event names, logos, images, and descriptions may be the intellectual property of their respective owners. See our DMCA Policy for takedown procedures.

6. User Content

You may create plans, save events, and share content through the Service. By doing so, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content solely to operate and improve the Service. You retain all ownership rights to your content.

You represent that you have the rights to any content you submit and that it does not violate the rights of any third party.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is and remains the exclusive property of AnyPlanz and its licensors. Our name, logo, and product features may not be used without our express written permission.

8. Artificial Intelligence & Automated Content

The Service uses artificial intelligence in the following ways that you should be aware of:

• AI-assisted editorial content— Some event descriptions, thematic groupings (“Best pizza spots”, “Live music this weekend”, etc.), and spotlight copy displayed on the Service are generated or substantially assisted by large language models (currently Anthropic Claude). This content is reviewed before publication but is not guaranteed to be accurate or complete.
• Algorithmic ranking — The order in which events and spots are presented to you is determined algorithmically based on social engagement signals (Buzz Score), your stated preferences, and behavioral data. Rankings are not purely editorial.
• Data aggregation — Event data is ingested and processed by automated pipelines. Not every event has been individually verified by a human editor.

In compliance with the EU AI Act transparency obligations (effective August 2026), we disclose that AI systems are used in the delivery and ranking of content on this Service. AI-generated editorial content is not intended to constitute professional advice of any kind.

9. Advertising

The Service may display advertisements served by Google AdSense. Advertising content is provided by Google and is subject to Google’s advertising policies. We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

EVENT INFORMATION ON THE SERVICE IS AGGREGATED FROM THIRD-PARTY SOURCES AND MAY BE INACCURATE, INCOMPLETE, OR OUT OF DATE. WE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ANY LIABILITY FOR DECISIONS YOU MAKE BASED ON THIS INFORMATION.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL ANYPLANZ, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL) ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) $100 USD.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless AnyPlanz and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt arising from (a) your use of the Service, (b) your violation of these Terms, or (c) your violation of any third-party rights.

13. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

16. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases.
