DMCA Policy

any planz? (“AnyPlanz”) respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users and content partners to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (“DMCA”), we respond promptly to valid notices of alleged copyright infringement.

1. Nature of Our Content

AnyPlanz aggregates publicly available event information from third-party sources including ticketing platforms (Ticketmaster, Eventbrite), local venue websites, city event calendars, and local news outlets. This aggregation is performed for the purpose of providing a discovery service to users.

We aggregate factual information (event names, dates, locations, ticket prices) and, where available, event images. We endeavor to attribute content to its original source and link back to the original event page.

2. Designated DMCA Agent

If you believe that content on AnyPlanz infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice to our designated agent:

DMCA Agent: Bryan Gaikwad
Email: dmca@anyplanz.com
Mailing Address: any planz?, San Francisco Bay Area, CA
Subject line: DMCA Takedown Notice

3. What to Include in a Takedown Notice

To be effective under the DMCA, your notice must include all of the following:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work — A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed, or if multiple works are covered by a single notice, a representative list of those works.
  2. Identification of the infringing material — A description of the material that you claim is infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it on our site (e.g., the URL of the specific page).
  3. Your contact information — Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  4. Good faith statement — A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. Accuracy statement — A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
  6. Signature — Your physical or electronic signature.

We will respond to valid DMCA notices by removing or disabling access to the allegedly infringing content within a reasonable time and notifying the affected party.

4. Counter-Notice Procedure

If you believe that content was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to our DMCA Agent. Your counter-notice must include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material that was removed or disabled, and its location before removal.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address, and telephone number.
  5. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or the Northern District of California if your address is outside the United States), and that you will accept service of process from the original complainant or their agent.

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant and may restore the removed content within 10–14 business days unless the complainant provides notice of a pending court action.

5. Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable law, AnyPlanz maintains a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are deemed to be repeat infringers. We also reserve the right to limit access to the Service for users who repeatedly infringe intellectual property rights.

6. Misrepresentation

Please note that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys’ fees. If you are unsure whether the material you are reporting is infringing, consult an attorney before submitting a notice.

7. Voluntary Removal Requests

If you are an event organizer, venue, or content owner and would like specific event information removed from AnyPlanz for reasons other than copyright (e.g., the event has been cancelled, or you prefer your content not be listed), please contact us at hello@anyplanz.com and we will process your request promptly.
